Sharm El Naga is a small bay roughly 45 minutes south of Hurghada, and it is on the map for one reason: the reef starts a few meters from the beach. You can walk in from the sand and be over living coral almost immediately, which is unusual on this coast and is why snorkelers make the trip.
There is no town at Sharm El Naga and no public transport worth the name. It is a beach, a reef and a handful of facilities on an otherwise empty stretch of coast. Getting there means arranging transport, and getting back means having arranged it in advance.
A private air-conditioned car for your group alone - up to 3 passengers with room for 5 pieces of luggage or beach kit - at a price fixed when you book.
From $20 for the vehicle, one way.
