Hurghada to Magic Life Kalawy Transfer

Kalawy Bay sits south of Safaga, roughly 75 minutes from Hurghada by road. It is one of the more remote resort locations on this coast - which is precisely its appeal, and precisely why the journey needs arranging properly.

The drive

South along the coast road past Sahl Hasheesh, Makadi and Soma Bay, through Safaga, and on into a stretch where the desert mountains come close to the water and there is very little else. It is a good drive, and an air-conditioned car makes it a comfortable one.

Good to know

• Coming from the airport? Send your flight number so we can track the arrival.
• Arrange the return at the same time. Kalawy is isolated and finding transport back at short notice is difficult and expensive.
• Kalawy is a kitesurfing area. If you are travelling with board bags, tell us and we will send a vehicle that takes them.
• Child seats available on request with notice.
• If you want to join our excursions from Hurghada during your stay, ask - we can arrange the transfers around the tour times.
