Hurghada Airport Transfer to Port Ghalib

Port Ghalib is a purpose-built marina town just north of Marsa Alam, roughly 250 km and three and a half hours south of Hurghada Airport. It has a harbour, a promenade of restaurants and shops, and a cluster of resorts around it - one of the few places on the southern coast that functions as a small town rather than an isolated hotel.

Marsa Alam has its own international airport, about 15 minutes from Port Ghalib. If you have not booked your flights yet and Port Ghalib is your destination, flying into Marsa Alam instead of Hurghada will save you three and a half hours each way. We are telling you this even though it means a shorter transfer for us - it is simply the better plan.

If your flight is already booked into Hurghada, this transfer is the comfortable way to cover the distance.
