Jungle Aqua Park Day Pass from Hurghada

Jungle Aqua Park is the biggest water park in Hurghada, and you do not have to be staying there to use it. This day pass gets you through the gate, fed, and back to your own hotel in the evening.

The park is built around a jungle theme spread over several pool areas, so families tend to split up naturally. Teenagers head for the tall slides. Younger children stay in the shallow zones with the small chutes and the tipping bucket. Anyone who wants nothing to do with any of it can claim a sunbed under a palm and stay there all day, which is a perfectly respectable way to spend it.

How the day works

We pick you up from your hotel reception in an air-conditioned private vehicle and take you back the same way. Your pass covers the pools and slides for the day, and lunch and drinks are included, so you do not need to budget for food once you are inside. Towels are usually available at the park; bring your own if you would rather not queue.

Good to know before you book

• Some of the larger slides have minimum height limits set by the park. Younger children are still well catered for in the dedicated shallow areas.
• The shaded seating fills up early. If you want a spot out of the sun, arrive at opening rather than mid-morning.
• Transfers are included from hotels inside Hurghada. From Makadi, Sahl Hasheesh, El Ahyaa, El Gouna or Soma Bay there is a $5 per person supplement.
• Photography and video services are not included.
• Hurghada is hot from June to September. On those days the water is the only comfortable place to be between noon and four, and that is exactly what this day is for.

What to bring

Swimwear, a towel, flip-flops, high-factor sunscreen and a waterproof pouch for your phone. Lockers are available at the park for valuables.
