9 Hours
Sea Trips
Hurghada
This trip solves a specific problem: one of you dives and one of you has never tried it. Rather than booking two different days, this boat runs two stops - a shallow, sheltered site suited to first-timers, and a deeper site with walls and structure for people who already hold a certification.
Everyone travels together, eats together, and surfaces with something to talk about.
The boat leaves at 9:00 and you are on the water for about seven hours, nine including transfers. On the way out the crew distributes equipment and a professional instructor runs a briefing - full training for anyone new, a refresher for anyone who wants one.
First dive, then lunch on board with soft drinks, water, coffee and tea, then the second dive at a different site. First-time divers are accompanied by the instructor the entire time and never dive alone.
An introductory dive is short - expect roughly 15 minutes underwater, not the 45 a certified diver gets. That is a safety limit, not a shortcut. It is enough time to know whether you want to go further, which is the point of the exercise.
Swimwear, a towel, reef-safe sunscreen and a light layer for the ride back. Wetsuits are provided with the equipment.
$55 per person (regular price $65), including seven hours on the boat, two dive stops, all scuba equipment, professional instructor, lunch and drinks, and air-conditioned transfer.
